Adopt-A-Pencil is grateful to all of its supporters including those who contribute time, material, and/or money to help us continue doing our work. We maintain strict optimist and donor privacy policies to protect the integrity and privacy of personal information gathered from our supporters and visitors through all of our communication channels, as well as from visitors to our Websites and those who donate through them.

We do not sell, exchange or rent your personal information to any organization or individual. We will not divulge personal information to any other organization or individual other than that necessary to transact, fulfill, and or account for online donations that you have authorized.

This information helps us in serving you better. Needless to say, we are bound to co-operate fully when the situation requires us to do so like by law or legal process, we have to provide information about our supporters. However, Adopt-A-Pencil does have the liberty to share personal information with our internal team to better serve you and the needs of our organization.

Personal information stored in Adopt - A- Pencil database is protected with a secured login with authentication, assignment of a unique ID to each person with computer access, and user IDs are deactivated or terminated as needed. We give training to our staff in how to handle information securely.

What information do we collect?

When you donate, attend an event, or volunteer with Adopt-A-Pencil, we may ask for information such as your name, address, email address, phone numbers, UPI ID, card details, bank details, PAN Number, Aadhar Number and other relevant information.

This personal information is not distributed, shared, rented, or given to companies.

Adopt- A- Pencil uses personally identifiable information you provide about yourself:

To process your donation and doing KYC of donor
To send you a receipt for your donation
To send you a thank you note for your donation or volunteering
To respond to your questions or comments about Adopt- A- Pencil
