MISSION:

At Adopt A Pencil Educational Trust, our mission is to replace wooden pencils with recycled paper pencils so we can reduce large-scale tree cutting, turn waste paper into meaningful products, and minimise landfill pollution. Through this effort, we aim to build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable learning environment for every child.

How We Started?

We began our work by purchasing recycled paper pencils and distributing them to a limited number of students during national and international day celebrations in schools. These events helped us introduce eco-friendly study materials while raising awareness about environmental care among children.

Our Next Step

We now aim to provide recycled pencils to students on a regular basis, ensuring that every child receives essential learning tools throughout the year—completely free of cost.

Our Long-Term Mission

Our long-term goal is to establish our own recycled paper pencil production unit. By producing pencils in-house, we will be able to manufacture more pencils at a lower cost and distribute them to a larger number of students, supporting education while promoting sustainability at scale.
